10/30/20

My wife and I are at some resort and we run into another couple who have the same first names-Mark & Diana. What are the odds? They mention there is another couple with the same names as well. Then a fourth couple joins us with the same first names as well. The husband gives me a casual hug, which makes me uncomfortable because of Covid and social distancing. We gather for a group photo and I realize that there's a movie camera set up filming us.

I'm at work and have an elaborate, multipage Cajun menu. I walk around the room and there are copying machines set up and I make a copy of each spread on separate copiers around the room. Someone mentions that they're doing the same thing only upside down and I say it really doesn't matter-you can just flip the pages when your done! I'm thinking of publishing it as a cookbook. Cher, who I used to work with, comes up to me and asks if I'd write something for the cover and would I do an illustration for it. I'm not a great artist and figure I can hire someone to do the illustration.

I'm out in the country on a farm and a guy who was in my third grade class has returned for some sort of reunion. His name is Dave Brinkman and his family moved to New Zealand and no one heard from him after he left. I ask him about himself. Has he done anything interesting in his life? No. Does he have any hobbies? No. He seems like the most boring person I've ever met. He has red hair and he looks like a 30-year old Opie from Andy of Maybury, even though he's actually in his mid-sixties.

(Recurring dream)

I'm in a classroom at my old high school. I'm not sure what class I'm supposed to be in but this isn't it. I notice my oldest daughter is in the class. I go down to see my counselor and ask for Mrs. Castille. The secretary corrects me with "It's MISS Castille." When I see her she has these bizarre black lines painted under her eyes.

I'm in Mt. Pleasant on CMU's campus and I'm aware of the fact that this is where Cathus went to school. They're handing out these cool swag bags and by the time I get back to where they're handing them out, they're all gone. I go into the library and check it out. Then I'm on a bus with several female students. We drive into town and I get off with them. We walk through an arcade which is being rebuilt. Then we enter an old train station. It's beautiful and I walk around it taking pix with my phone, to use as reference for future paintings.

I'm at Joe user's restaurant with a bunch of people. Some guy who I don't really know keeps sending drinks to my table. I'm not really sure what to do because I don't drink anymore. I'm not sure what to order and I miss the waiter who came around to take our orders. I can't decide whether to get the fish and chips or the smelt. Finally, the wait staff sets up in front of the restaurant with a microphone to confirm all the orders. Then I run into the guy who's sending me drinks. He's holding court with his workers and I realize he's some hotshot photographer who I may have met once. I pretend I recognize him.

We're packing up after a weekend camping with the Kondak clan at a small beach. We look at a map that shows some larger beaches in the area. We stop in at a diner to get something to eat and we have two cats with us. The place starts to get packed and one of the cats runs away and eventually someone brings it back.

10/25/20

I'm taking an improv comedy class with Terry. It's taking place in the hallway of a school. Everyone gives their monologue and when it comes time for me, I chicken out and say I can't do one. My routine was going to be about either committing suicide or shooting someone with a gun.

Amy stops by and she's drunk. She want to take a 15 minute nap. It's her birthday (October 26) and people at work forgot about it. There are a bunch of ham and cheese sandwiches and chips. I'm eating some chips and a guy stops by and wants to have a ham sandwich. Then he asks me about wine glasses.

I'm in a bar or restaurant with my dad. He stands up and pulls out some gardening shears and throws them up at the ceiling and they stic...
