I'm with some friends and we're trying to think of the actor Ray Liotta's name. I describe this hair style and try to think of some of the movies he was in.

I'm teaching a couple girls how to use a camera I'm going to lend them. It's heavy and box shaped. For some reason I have to tape the number 151 on a wall. It sticks okay, but I have to add another 1. It won't stick because there's some moss growing on the wall. Then I tape it over the other numbers. 

I'm in a mall and some guy is infatuated with Rich Ansell's girlfriend. At first they get along and then she dumps him. I start talking to her and we have some amazing chemistry. Then I realize that it just wasn't meant to be and I'm trying to build up the courage to tell her we need to quit seeing each other.

I'm working at Doner. I'm teamed up with a you female art director.  She wears a loose white t-shirt and is super friendly. She gives me a hug. They put some of the work we did together in a showcase. Someone demonstrates a cheese grater where you put in a disc of parmesan and grind it.The Sam Minella is giving me some yellow squash from his garden. Some of them are stretched over his fingers and when he peals them off, they fall apart. I tell him I planted some seeds and they only grew a couple inches tall and then died.

I had a lemon plant that was being eaten by bugs. They looked like caterpillars and would emerge from the leaves. There were several green lemons on the ground. I was wondering if I should spray the plant or use some chemical in the soil.

I had to drive over to the east side--Chris & Jenn bought a house there. I had to pick up something for them. They weren't sure where their house was and I made a bunch of calls to figure it out.

My dad was waiting in the car. We were going to go to the opera. I kept forgetting something and kept going inside the house to get it. Every time I'd come outside, my dad was parked farther and farther away. Finally I gave up and decided not to go.

Hannah and I are in Chicago. Paul Kerber drops us off on the south side. We walk around for a while then tell him to pick us up. We find a place for him to land the chopper. It's a small clearing that has some wires on the ground. We tell him it's where the two branches of the Chicago river are close together and there's a small part that is at a 90 degree angle and intersects the other branches. 

I get a job at an in house agency for a bank. I do an assignment and John Lapp looks my work over. I've left out some numbers and he corrects it. Then I walk around. The building is skinny and makes a bunch of sharp turns. I run into Bob Packlaian. He gives me a power handshake, which is a bit awkward. He tells me a bunch of old timers are working there. We run into Chuck Felt who looks ancient. He's a bit out of it. We walk around and spot a couple female art directors smooching. 

9/18/23

I'm at a hotel in D.D. with Pounder. We're listening to some live jazz and the band quits at 11:30. Pounder sits at the bar and gets totally hammered. We walk into an art gallery. A woman has set up an instrument she's made out of ropes. It's hanging from a doorway and looks a little like a spider web. She plucks the ropes and plays it like a harp. It sounds New Agey. There are some other instruments of hers in the art gallery.

I buy Karl Kratz's sailboat. A bunch of us are going to take it out for a sail but it starts to sprinkle and we head back. It stops and we start to head out again. But Karl has to be somewhere and we give up. 

I need to wash the hallway of some apartment building. Someone is helping me. He or she has a big mop that's full of water and starts washing the floor.

I was at some gathering and I was drinking red wine mixed with milk. It was in a short, clear glass. 

Then I was at a cottage in Canada. Maybe the Ohare's? I looked into the fridge and found an Old Vienna beer. I poured it into a Gallo wine carafe. It tasted great. Someone mentioned he admired my taste in beer and I told him my two faves were Old Vienna and Schaefer.

Joe pitches a chicken account and wins it. There's a big dinner celebrating it. They pass around trays of fried chicken. I don't get any because everyone else hogged it all. I say, "That's okey, I wasn't going to have any." I go to KFC. The menu on the wall is very confusing. They have a $55 package. I let a couple guys go ahead of me while I try to figure out my order. I just want a couple of pieces of dark meat.

I'm walking down Lewiston towards Kercheval. There's a guy in a yellow outfit following me.e's an artist and I owe money to. He was hired by an agency I used. When we get to Hall Rd. I explain it to him and some agency people.

I run into a skinny version of Nino. We were in rehab together and I ask him if he's still clean. He tells me he got remarried. We're walking around an unfamiliar area.

I meet John Coltrane. He shakes my hand. Then he grabs my forearm and curls his fingers while repeating "A Love Supreme". I go into the girls dressing room and tell them.

I'm in an art store shopping for pastels. There's a Randy Latocki brand. I'm thinking of buying a set. A guy tells me to buy individual colors. He shows me some huge round sticks. I say< Red, Yellow, Blue, Pink, Orange and Green." He asked me if I'm sure. 

I do a standup comedy routine in a small room in a restaurant.

Joe takes my grapefruit pant out of its pot and nearly destroys it. She says she's using the pot for another plant. I ask her how could she do that to a plant I've had for over 40 years?!?!

There's a Republican candidate in our district who filed to run 1/2 hour before the deadline because no one else was running. He gets into office by default. He comes by our house and we point out that he cheated. We're eating some incredible cherry pie and he wants some. We remind him about cheating and make fun of him. I tell him we call folks like him Republicunts!

I'm in Indianapolis hanging out with Maurya's relatives who are all a bunch of hillbillies. 

I'm in a play and we're relaxing around a table. We each have a plate with a chocolate brownie on it. The guy next to me tells me it's super rich and to taste it. He looks like Alden Saxton.

I was going to appear before some British magistrates for a crime I committed years ago. Apparently I was high and stole something. We were all sitting around a table. Someone was giving me advice about what to say. I was pretty foggy about what I had done. Then it was lunchtime and they brought in a bunch of food and set up a buffet.

I'm rolling a big stereo cart (Nick's) to have it repaired. I take it on an elevator and another guy has a big screen/panel he's rolling. We pass by one another just missing each other. Sal takes a look at it and he's going to have some woman check it out. It has a reel-to-reel tape deck and an old movie projector on it.
