10/28/23

I'm in a music store. Someone shows off some trianglular shaped headphones. He says they're real good and are $3,500 and they're going to auction off several pairs. I put in a bid for $50 but hope I don't win a pair because it's too much money. Then I walk around the store. I goof around playing some drums.

 I was in charge of collecting props for a play. People kept dropping off boxes of stuff. One woman had a small grill in her box and I said we probably couldn't start a fire on stage. Someone told me the play was so sad he couldn't watch the whole thing. I debated on whether I should see it or not.

 I'm up north for the Domin family reunion. We're playing baseball. Then Phil starts working on the roof of one of the cabins. There's tar smoke everywhere. I notice my dad sitting by himself drinking a beer and doing the crossword puzzle.

I'm working in the Renaissance Center. I walk around and it looks totally different. I talk to Schmengie and she's working for C-E and she's looking for some people to work for her. I have her card in a Rolodex. I start writing a cover letter only I don't know the name of he company I'm working for. Neither does anyone else because we're all red-lancing. Then I can't find her card. Maybe someone stole it?

I'm going cross country skiing on the sidewalk heading to Amy's house. When we get there we notice a big pile of shoes. A ton of people are already there.

There's a big rally on Mack near Moross. A young rapper is going to perform. Instead of performing from an approved script, he raps from his heart. It gets the crowd super revved up. There are peaceful demonstrations all along Mack. I head over there with some friends but the center of the action is always just ahead of us. We end up in a crappy neighborhood. Then I'm with a bunch of people who look familiar. One girl is super friendly to me but I can't remember her name. I borrow someone's phone and call Joe only I can't hear her. Then I notice Brian and Molly Breaden. They're a happy couple and have a young daughter.

I'm in a National Park. I go into a Starbucks and order a double shot espresso. A bus pulls up and I say, "You are about to get real busy." Paul Kerber says we need to go. I have to use the bog. Then we need to go back to our cabin because someone has to change for the black flies.

We were living in our first flat on Woodhall and were hosting Christmas. All the Tomaszewskis came and the place was packed. There was a huge pile of presents. A bunch of the guys were in one of the bedrooms watching football on tv.

I'm sitting next to Brian Chambers at a funeral mass. We're both cracking jokes and laughing. A bunch of people leave and there are only a handful of us left. 

I'm boiling lobsters, then cracking them open and eating them.
