The Darndest Dream

Some guy fires a missile. It explodes a couple miles away. It creates a big cloud of chemicals. We have to decide whether to flee or lock ourselves inside a home.

I'm at a creative briefing. There are a bunch of engineers in the room. I sit with a female AE. Technical stuff is being discussed. I want to write something funny and pass it the the AE only all the sheets of paper are filled with technical notes. Sam Minella comes over and asks if there's a creative brief.

I'm at Emily Shaheedy's wedding. It's in the lobby of an office building. There's a camera show going on. They want me to dance the Hora. I wander around and look at the cameras. The next stop is going to be Mount Clemens. I look for my coat. Aunt Freda falls down.

Pounder is teaching a class to a bunch of retarded Russians. They're all fat and bald. I joke with him that he should be called "Professor Pounder".

I do a stand up comedy bit involving taking over the country of Eritrea. Then I'm chosen to be a speaker at a huge event. I need to write down some notes. The copy machines all have paper loaded into them that's already printed on both sides. The event is in a huge arena and it's a retirement party for Al Hoeg.

Hannah gives me an afro haircut. I think to myself, now I'll know what it's like to go into a store and be treated like shit by the employees.

We're painting the Farber's basement. We're rolling out black pain only it's supposed to be mustard colored. Then I'm riding bikes with Hannah. Sarah is blading down Vernier. Later I cook up a big tray of fish and veal for the Farber's party.

I arrange a seminar for the agency where the producers explain their process so we can do better creative work. Only Mary Grahms, John Rockiki, and one other person attend.

I'm eating an ice cream cone. It's coconut ice cream and I take huge bites out of it.

I'm working at an ad agency. We get three assignment--each one comes with a stack of paperwork and it's very confusing. I try to implement job sheets. Chris Arace is there and Charlie Bishop is working part time. He takes one assignment and opens it up. It's for the New York car dealers. I'm working with a bunch of folks and we're throwing out ideas. II come up with the healing: It's how New York moves! I'm going to the car and keep dropping things.
