I get a new job in a modern office building downtown. I go downstairs to have an early lunch. In the first restaurant they have flat electronic menus. The waiter puts it on his back. I can't read it and he goes away. I give up and walk around. There's a store that has a bunch of Mickey Mouse heads in it. They spew out cotton candy. Then I go into another restaurant where the have a bunch of menus from other restaurants. A woman asks how big is the mahi-mahi.

I'm wandering around with Wally and Jim Damberg on Mack Ave. We talk about how Fiddler's Music is closing and we should visit it one last time. Then we're in a record store and I see some Jose Feliciano records. I ask if he's still around and Jim tells me he's really popular with Jewish people. I'm not sure if he's joking or not..

I'm studying art at Cranbrook. For our senior project we're supposed to team up with a partner and create a sculpture. I work with Doggo only he does all the work, chopping up sticks and pieces of metal to create something. Meanwhile, I have an empty BBQ coal bags that has bits of tomatoes smeared on the inside. I roam around the campus ooking for a spot I can put it so birds will spot it and have something to eat.

I'm at the central branch of our library and it's been dolled up for an advertising awards party. They start putting out food. I decide I'd like to attend after I run into Schmengie. I call my wife and Deb and ask them to bring a change of clothes for me. When I look into the bag expecting some black jeans, there are a ripped pair of pants and some shoes for Deb. I'm wearing white Converse All Stars and I figure I'll just look out of place.

I'm in a bar or restaurant with my dad. He stands up and pulls out some gardening shears and throws them up at the ceiling and they stick. Then I spot a couple of state troopers get up and come over to our table. I'm sure they're going to arrest my dad but they have some shears as well and they throw them up at the ceiling. Then several other people do the same. My dad looks at me and says, "And my son didn't want me to do this!"

 I go ice fishing with my brother Paul. I ask him if we use fishing poles and he say no. We just chop a hole in the ice and put our lines in there. He dives into the water and comes up with a red and black fish. I think he's crazy!

I'm talking to my B-I-L Bill about color coordinating his Christmas tree. I tell him it would be cool to have the top part of the tree covered with red lights and bulbs. Then each section going down a different color. 

There was a female tutor from back in my high school days. Somehow, if we had gotten together back in the day, we might have gotten married. She was going to be in town for a class reunion and I was looking forward to seeing her again.

I went into a comedy club with a friend who was also the owner. She encourages me to do a standup bit. I told her I didn't have any material but I had done a few bits a while ago. I was planning on having something to eat there. It was located on Mack Ave. in the former home of Union Street bar.

We were going to have a picnic with our youngest daughter at Elmwood Cemetery. When we get there, there were a bunch of kids, climbing the various monuments and taking pix. Apparently it was some kind of class trip.

I'm at a baseball game and our seats are terrible. In fact, we're outside the stadium and we can only see the pitchers warming up on the sidelines. I go to the ticket office and tell them I'm thinking of suing the team because of this. Our tickets are $25 and we were going to get season tickets for $2,500. The guy offers me a cheap pocket calculator to pay us back.

I get a job and I'm assigned to a back room. I'm not sure what my actual job is so I just wander around chatting with the other workers. They give me a paper bag that's sealed up. On my way home I open it up. I've had it for a couple days at this point. Inside is a packet of "Ramburgers" fries and a red pop. There's also two burgers from Burger King and fries and a pop. I figure the food is way too old to eat so I give it to a couple of Black Labs that are roaming around my house.

I was working on an advertising campaign with a partner. It was to promote a car company. Our boss was President Obama and he kept encouraging us to be even more creative and inspiring. I came up with a slogan that was something like, "Freedom to go where you want and explore the possibilities." He said it was a good start and we should have a couple beers and open up our minds.

I go to Ann Arbor and park a few blocks from the Red Rooster party store. I attend some kind of meeting and then can't find my way back to the car. I go into a restaurant and ask a waiter for directions. He says it's seven blocks away but he has trouble telling me what direction to go. Then it starts to sprinkle. 

I'm in a jazz club. The band is playing and the leader plays sax and guitar. I made some picks for him out of a pumpkin. Here's a bunch of the pumpkin left and I slice it up. We decide it's too stringy to use for guitar pick or to eat. 

I'm in the lobby of a hotel. I had just started taking flamenco dancing lessons. I show off to Zubes the steps I've learned.

I'm in some country just west of Bulgaria. I go into a gift shop that has a lot of hand made items. There are some cool artsy things made of wood and they're surprisingly cheap. Then we go into St. Sophia's church. It's huge and there are interesting blue tiles on the white walls.

I have my arms around Jim Farber and he's dragging me down Jefferson Ave. near downtown. He decides to get an Uber. It's a four seat Mustang and there's no room for me so I'm on my own. 

I'm trying to buy a 6-pack of a Spanish IPA. The store only has a couple cans of it and I complain.

I'm riding a real fast bike down Woodward. Then I try to find a street that goes to Grosse Pointe. I see a cool old mansion. I continue riding fast and then realize I'm not wearing a helmet.

I go into a women's bathroom and take a pee. Then I go into a room that has a bunch of individual saunas.  

I'm in some city between Detroit and Toronto. There are no trains for a couple days I go ice skating. Then a bunch of us decide to rent a car and drive to Detroit.

I'm in Ann Arbor and watch an autobiographical film and the director is there. They have a Q&A and I ask a question. Then I want to leave but decide I'll stay and ask him a few questions. People are lining up for some sushi and I go up to the director and ask him how did he decide what to include from his life in the movie. I explain some of the highlights of my life and how could I choose to include in my autobiography to make an interesting story.

Zubes and I are swimming in Lake Erie. The water is really warm and we pick up a black fan and fling it like a frisbie. 

I invent a new name for Easter. I figure it's a Christian holiday and needs to be more inclusive. Since pink and yellow are the dominant colors for the holiday, why not call it PinkNyellow? I think it's ingenious and keep telling prople I meet about it, hoping it will catch on!

I go to pick up a permit for a protest.It has a number on it and it's on a cookie sheet. I thought it was my number but it's for someone else. Joe arrives with Julie Russell and she has to fill out a form to protest. Julie tells me she's mad at me. I was going to leave the permit but it's on a cookie sheet so I take it.

I'm camping with some women as a fog rolls into our campsite. Then a train comes into town. I hop on and take a shower.

This was one of those long and frustrating dreams. I'm waiting for the bus at the city limits. There are a bunch of us and we can't figure out whether the bus will be coing down Jefferson or the side street. Then we finallyget on a 710 bus. Well, it turns out it is going downtown but its going to wind through a bunch of industrial areas and is going to take two hours to get there. It's a fascinating part of the city and looks like downriver and Zug Island. A woman across the aisle mentions she know Terry and Lisa Ayrault. I assume she's in advertising and I ask her who she works for. She mentions a company Ive never heard of. When I mention this shes realy insulted. Then I decide to take some pix. My briefcase fell on the floor and I pick up the papers and stuff them back in. Then I try to take some pictures out the window. Earlier, I had a wad of bills, which were change from a $500 bill. I sort them out and soeone tries to grab them so I stuff them in my pocket.

 I'm hanging out downtown and inside a shopping mall is an Afro-American restaurant that's closed. It's owned by Mike Belitsos. I run into him. The I'm outside looking for some historic building on Washington Boulevard. 

I'm going to run in a 10k race. It's along a lake and I'm with some buddy who is going to run with me. We're looking around trying to find the start of the race. There seems to be a bit of confusion about where the start is.
