The Darndest Dream

7/31/21

I'm digging in why ear with my finger and my ear turns inside-out. Sound is pretty muffled and I wonder if my ear is going to repair itself.

I'm walking around Boston and there are incredible restaurants, food shops, and bakeries. I run into Tonce who tells me he's looking to place people into new jobs. I'm in a mall and he starts following me around.

I introduce a tiny kitten to a dog/cat? and they get along.

I'm at a composers workshop and I explain that I can only play the piano and guitar. People are sitting at tables working and I mention that I like minimalism like Steve Reich but also like lusher classical music as well. A long-haired composer walks me around and we end up n an area where they're working on concept cars.

I go to a 2-day music festival and Wally decides not to come. I'm in a tall building overlooking the festival. Sarge is playing in a folk group and Wally shows up. People are talking about him going on stage unannounced and stealing the show--making the weekend all about him.

I'm eating in a restaurant in the Renaissance Center with Sam and Chuck Felt. I hide a bottle of wine under the table. A waiter comes over and tells me about a wine with a blue stripe on it.

I'm in a bakery in St. Clair. I grab a huge slice of bran bread and it's super tasty!

7/16/21?

This one's long and rambling:

I'm in a harbor in Norway. We go out whale-watching but I don't have my phone with me to take videos. I see Connie from TJ's in line. I grab a plate and fill it with huge pastries that are left over from some conference. Then I go inside an agency that has an ice theme. Everything is coated with ice. Stew works there. Very surreal. Then I'm on a boa going up the coast and see a bunch of old freighters, ships, and personal submarines. We draw lasers to see what we're going to eat and I draw "lite dining". It must be a mistake.

I'm in a photo class at WSU that Jack Summers is teaching. There are small models? Then something about having a bird in a cage that I left for a week but it's okay.

I'm on a ferry on Lake St. Clair. We're going to stop in Chatham and Metamora. I see Kirk Gibson on a boat with his family.

7/13/21

I get a haircut for a meeting the next day. It looks really strange, short on one side and really long on the other. I gather a bunch of food to take up to my room.
